Do writing sprints actually work?
Writing sprints are basically the caffeine-fueled, deadline-loving, slightly chaotic fairy godmothers of productivity. They trick your brain into focusing by saying, “You only have 15 minutes, so stop rearranging your pencil cup and WRITE, dang it!” There’s no time to overthink or obsess over whether your protagonist’s eye color is emotionally symbolic—you just go. And somehow, the words pile up faster than your laundry. It’s a magical combo of pressure, peer pressure (in the nicest way), and pure adrenaline-fueled momentum. Writing sprints: because sometimes the only way to get your book written is to race the clock like it just insulted your mom.
